Our Making Business Greener campaign is designed to provide a virtual sustainability officer for organisations who otherwise would not have the resources to provide such a role.
Many SME’s are wanting to reduce their impact but often lack the time, knowledge and resources to achieve their aims. Funded by the Naturesave Trust, UK businesses can draw on critical professional knowledge that is key to making the transition to a low carbon economy.
New rules and regulations are increasingly asking business to demonstrate their sustainability credentials.
If you are applying for a grant or NHS funding you will be asked to show your carbon footprint report.
If you are tendering as part of a government procurement portal you will be asked to show your carbon footprint and a carbon reduction plan
If you are part of a higher education supply chain you will be asked to demonstrate your commitment to sustainability and be compared to other suppliers.
If are you a large SME of a certain size and turnover you have to meet regulator compliance to report your carbon footprint and broader Environment and Social Governance.
