Welcome to Naturesave’s Sustainability Officer Service program. In response to the increasingly urgent need to tackle the climate and nature crisis and the critical role played by SME’s, we have launched a new service for our business insurance clients.
Designed to help the UK’s SME’s contribute to tackling the climate and nature crisis
Naturesave began offering free sustainability advice to businesses since 1996. The long running Environmental Performance Reviews program followed Bioregional’s One Planet Living principles and was funded by our charity, the Naturesave Trust.
As the need to action to tackle the climate and nature crisis grows in urgency, the requirements of businesses is evolving. As small to medium sized businesses (SME’s) account for 99.9% of the business population in the UK, they are set to play a critical role in helping the business community make the changes that are needed.
Today, businesses seeking to become more sustainable have a range of needs and issues. These often relate to creating net zero plans and measuring carbon footprints. Businesses also want help in understanding the climate and nature crisis, how it relates to their organisation and what legislation they need to be aware of. Communicating these issues to employees, customers and stakeholders is also often seen as a challenge.
The Sustainability Service is designed to meet these needs and is funded by our charity the Naturesave Trust.
The new Sustainability Service, consists of up to 4 hours of free consultancy to help your business align with the 1.5 temperature goals.

- Assessing climate business risk and advising mitigation strategy
- Carbon footprinting and carbon reduction support programmes
